Difference Between Cheap and Expensive Gaming Chairs

For the past couple of years, the buzz about gaming has really intensified. Every major YouTuber or streamer seems to now have a really expensive and high-end gaming chair.

But first of all what is a gaming chair? It’s easy to think that any chair that’s used for gaming might be a gaming chair but it’s so much more than that.

So essentially a gaming chair is designed similar to something like a car or a racing car seat that supports your back and is really comfortable with those long gaming spells. These chairs can vary vastly raging from its build quality to the neck and back support and more. But is getting an expensive chair that those YouTubers seem to use really worth it, so let’s see what’s the difference between cheap and expensive gaming chairs.

Best Gaming Chair

Looking at the expensive variant, one thing you’ll definitely notice is the build and the material quality. Usually covered with real leather, high-quality metal and plastic. A gaming chair is defined by its structure and it might just be the most important thing because it holds everything together and being made out of weak materials means it’s prone to be worn out and out of shape pretty quickly.

So the expensive one is almost certainly made of out of metal or aluminum base as opposed to some hard plastic or nylon.

Next up are armrests, these are really crucial as well, having a dodgy armrest can be really annoying and frustrating. Expensive variants tend to have an extendable and movable armrest to cater to your exact needs. These are covered with the best material to provide the utmost comfort to stay focused on your gaming.

The wheels of the seat are important as well, having frictionless and uninterrupted movement can really add to the experience and a high-end gaming chair is made sure to have the top-notch wheels to glide around when your busy gaming because no one wants to get stuck on a chair that doesn’t move properly after a while.

Also as all the weight of the person is carried out these teeny tiny wheels, so it’s really important that even these are made out of high-quality materials.

Finally, the difference between a cheap and expensive chair can be apparent due to the difference in its craftsmanship, a high-end chair can be differentiated just by looking at it and how it feels.

Taking a Break from MTG

Striving to win? Why so serious? Ooops, that’s not me! I’m one of the happy-go-lucky MTG players lately. Eversince my bf built me a Naya Blitz deck, I became active in playing MTG again. I kept on grinding… sadly, not to the top. Not yet!

I just came from an FNM earlier and my standing sucks. 1-3-1. That draw was brought about my major misplay! Uh-oh… And the 3 losses?
vs Esper Control : 0 -2
vs Esper Control : 0 -2
vs Junk Reanimator: 0-2

I won over one Junk Reanimator match and drew it with URW control. At times like this, I really need lots of things to distract me. Err, something that will make me forget about my mistakes and not so good luck. I’ll blog about my common misplays next time once I’m over it. For now, enough playbacks!

So, what am I up to? Blogging, Facebook, and food. LOL. These are some of the things that make me happy. They help me forget something and make the most out of my ‘waiting time’ or ‘boring day’. What about blogging? Just like what I’m doing right now. Blabbing about MTG or something else. The bonus is when I get paid for it. Hahaha. And Facebook? Oh yeah,it’s one of the reasons why people tend to procrastinate. Facebook offers a lot of things that’s why I have no regrets signing up for an account. I love how the social network helps me in promoting my blogs. It’s easy to communicate or keep in touch with family and friends, fun to play games and share anything you want.

When I want to unplug from bothering thoughts, one of the things I do is play online. It doesn’t have to be MMORPG or other popular games, Facebook apps are good enough. Tetris, SIMS Social, Backyard Monsters, Farmville, etc are some of the Facebook games I played. And there’s something new I’d like to share: LetterUp!

LetterUp Facebook

While you guys might be enjoying 4 pics 1 word and logo quiz apps on your smartphone, LetterUp is also worth-trying. Challenge your brain in this crossword game! It’s fun to get high scores by forming words strategically. Pretty much like scrabble.

If you’re up for the challenge, invite your friends and start playing LetterUp on Facebook: https://apps.facebook.com/letterupgame/

Play LetterUp
For more information about the game please visit https://letterup.com/
Don’t forget to check the game rules. You’ll learn a lot from there including letter distribution and points.

Speculation, Luck and Success

One of the most interesting and difficult aspects of playing Magic: The Gathering is speculating. What is speculating anyway? Basically it is the act of getting cards in the present for a lower price with the intention of eventually selling them for a higher price. In addition, speculating is not limited to simply buying a card but also in trading cards. And do not get the wrong idea that you are just simply trading or buying randomly but as much as possible, you are doing so on the basis that you will eventually get value out of the trade.

Jace, The Mind Sculptor

Thou shall know my worth!

Speculation has more to do with earning a profit through price changes in the Magic market in general. It is some sort of a gamble wherein you purchase cards in the presumption that they will eventually increase in value in the future. Speculating about MTG card value is really challenging. It does not mean that when you purchase a lot of cards of a particular type is that you will automatically benefit from them but rather, a card’s price depends on how high the demand for that particular card is and how much supply is left.

In a way, it is like a hit or miss. However, with experience and exposure in the tournament environment, you will be able to improve your metagame analysis, which can help you figure out which cards have the potential to be utilized in decks. In turn, you will come to the point of knowing if a card’s price has the potential to increase in the near-future or if the card’s price will dip instead. Overall, it takes a lot of time, effort and experience for a person to be able to improve his speculating skills.

Little Battlers eXperience PSP Game

Little Battlers eXperience is a role playing video game on PSP involving LBXs (a.k.a. Little Battlers eXperience, small plastic model robots) that fight against dioramas made out of cardboard to battle against LBX created by other characters. There is also an animated series of it called “Danball Senki” premiered in Japan last March 2, 2011.

Little Battlers eXperience

So how does the game work? First, you buy a model mech from toy shop and assemble it. Then you get together with your friends and gather around the LBX board (a tabletop gaming platform just like Warhammer’s) to start the battle. Each of your LBX has different capabilities and attributes which make the fight scenes more interesting. Level-5 created this game and it is their great idea to integrate toys, games, and entertainment in one. The anime approach of this RPG is well-enhanced and it’s easy to use the lock onto target attack and do some special attacks.

While grown ups may find the combat fairly standard and simple, kid’s will definitely enjoy it especially that the different robot designs adds fun and excitement to the game.

Gaming Zone Reborn!

Title exaggerated! Lol. Ok, all I mean is that Gaming Zone’s theme has been updated. My boyfriend helped me tweak its layout because we both realized that it’s about time to get serious. *wink* Google just rolled a page rank update and Gaming Zone (www.bestgamingvideos.com) gained PR1 from PR0. MTGirl remains PR2. My boyfriend’s blog (www.ravenknives.info) is also PR1 now so he’s busy blogging, too! More writing tasks for him aside from Gaming Zone’s content.

Here’s a preview of changes:

Gaming Zone V1

Gaming Zone V2

He requested to make Guilty Gear’s images a bit bigger since it’s one of his favorites. Lol. Can’t blame him. I also want to offer some fan service with Dizzy’s hot pose but can’t find the perfect photo yet. Gaming Zone might undergo more changes so I hope you can support us all the way!

Because we’re busy and the client’s payment didn’t make it on time, I’m passing on today’s sealed tournament. Cute Crying GIF

Hello Avacyn!

Avacyn, Angel of Hope

Wait, I don’t think I have the right to say hello to Avacyn for I was not present at the prerelease event yesterday. My boyfriend and I were too busy with a lot of things. Of course this has nothing to do with personal stuff or Colchester dating. We’re just rushing some online tasks and our MTG funds depend on it. Lol. We’re also planning to buy a new laptop so we really have to work harder. 🙂

With Avacyn Restored officially launched here, I wish to collect all the Angel cards!

Though we’re not able to play at the PR event, we’re hoping to join the release party next week. I wish to grab a booster box, too because it’s been a while since we last pre-ordered one. 🙁

The Adventures of the Super Mario Bros.

At this time and age, a wide variety of video games and consoles have been launched as a form of entertainment for everybody. And despite the countless titles out there, the legendary plumbers, Mario and Luigi, along with their gang, still remain as indispensable icons of the gaming history. In fact, every gamer out there, both kids and adults can now join their adventures online.

And what is more interesting is that there is more than one Super Mario game for you to enjoy. If you prefer your Super Mario games to be more challenging and out of the ordinary, you might want to try Super Mario Crossover. In this game, not only do you go through a more difficult set of obstacles but you also meet your mushroom friends to give you tips and advice. You also get to pick up different equipment which can help you on your journey.

Super Mario Online Games

Another is Super Mario Brothers: Yoko or Super Mario 63. In this particular format, you take the role of Yoko who looks similar to Mario’s mount, Yoshi. The game is straight-forward. You get to collect coins and diamonds for points and you either stomp or avoid the enemies you encounter. If you want your kid to start with a simple Mario adventure, you can recommend this game. You can easily access these games at mario-games.co. Furthermore, playing these games can help your kid develop his hand and eye coordination. Though it may take a while to get familiar with the controls, it will be worth the fun.

On the other hand, adults playing the game will surely find the background music and other themes in the game nostalgic especially if they have been playing the game’s predecessors in their earlier years. It is amazing to see Super Mario and his gang continue to live through a out the history. There may be a lot of great new consoles and challenging games out there but Mario and Luigi will always have a spot in everyone’s heart.

Cyber Wars – Internet is the New Battlefield

MTG has a very broad and long storyline and one of the most interesting parts is the war between Mirran and Phyrexian. As the Phyrexian assault on the metallic plane of Mirrodin intensifies, Mirran partisan bravely resists to overcome and survive. Despite all force and magic, the dark side wins giving birth to a new world – New Phyrexia.

In war, only one party can win. The same thing holds true in online war games. And being a player, you’d like to beat your opponent. With lots of war games to play, you’ll more likely to end up victorious.

War games usually revolve around different types of military actions, both fiction and non-fiction. With the popularity of DoTA and Warcraft, more and more MMORPG games are being released online. The concept of building an army and destroying opponent’s base is so appealing because it requires strategy and skills to infiltrate or take over the base.

There are different types of war games in the form of historical types, theoretical, fantasy or sci-fi. Historical war games are based on the recordings of the past. Characters are topography are sometimes based on the facts from the actual battle that took place long ago. It can’t be denied that World War II has somehow inspired few online war games.

Theoretical types are the hypothetical war games wherein a war is usually anticipated. It’s like building an empire, managing the community and protecting it from outsiders. And when an attack started, you have to deal with the ongoing war.

Fantasy war games are inspired by imagination. It may involve mythological creatures, warriors, brutes, unholy objects and more.

Sci-fi war games on the other hand are based on stron scientific concepts and theories. It involves evolution of human race and technology, usually robots. Because of some alteration in the game development, science fiction war games are believed to be a tone down version of fantasy types.

Just like any other flash games, war games are enjoyable to play. To name some, we have Starcraft, Battalion Ghosts, Epic Defender and Nob Wars. Playing free war games online can give you a great mental work out, too!

Puzzle, Adventure and Mind Games

With Zendikar block and M11 rotating out, I’ll surely miss lots of cards. Fauna Shaman and Vengevine are just few of the best pieces I’ve had in my GW deck. It was really funny how my monowhite quest evolved into GW quest and eventually ended up being Naya aggro. And while my GW quest was at its peak, Stoneforge Mystic got banned. Well, I’ll miss that Kor Artificer forever.

Right now, I’m thinking of what deck to play this coming weekend. Oh, that would be Innistrad Release Party which means there will be sealed tournament… saved me from a lot of thinking. Anyway, my boyfriend will be brewing new decks for me, that’s for sure. With Hex-Blade and Pod decks in mind, he’ll definitely come up with a good deck list.

So I’m leaving all the deck-building duties to him while I blog and earn extra cash for MTG expenses. 🙂 (I’m just a pilot, anyway.)

As part of my online routine, I always check my email and Facebook. While some Facebook updates are really annoying, game requests and gifts still make my day. I give up being a farmer there. My sister is the one managing my Farmville while I’m busy with Backyard Monsters and SIMs Social. Some games are counter-productive yet I can’t help playing them when my blogging tasks seem overwhelming. Fun games relax me. While MTG is a good outlet, some playtests become stressful more than a game should be. Talk about misplays, silly remarks from my guy and more.

So, what are the games that keep me sane when rush projects come in? Most of the time, the kissing games. Kidding. I’d rather do it for real than rely on my SIM. Seriously, there are lots of online girl games that inspire me in several ways. As if Zuma DeLuxe and Tumble Bugs aren’t enough to distract me, I still allot few clicks for puzzle games such as Element Quest, Diamond Puzzle and Vegetables Maching. I mean, they are all fun and perfect for setting up my mood for blogging. Happy thoughts and excited feeling. Sometimes, I also try new stuff from online gaming sites. RPG games are always cool yet there are times that I’m too lazy to complete the quests. Simple e-games are enough to kick me off… I can’t see myself as a hardcore gamer when I’d rather blog while the guys get addicted with MMORPG. Maybe not yet…
